Getting Started

The basics - who it's for, how it's different, and what to expect.
  • Adults 25–50 who train, work demanding jobs, or want measurable control over their energy, recovery, sleep, and long-term health. You're a fit if you're done buying supplements based on guesswork and want a formula built from your actual biology. Most members are training 3+ days a week and want performance-level health, not just "not sick."

  • Under-18s, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and anyone currently managing a serious medical condition should speak with their doctor before starting. Better You is a performance and optimisation system, not a treatment. If you've been diagnosed with a chronic condition or take prescription medications that interact with supplements, your GP should be your first call.

  • Quiz brands ask you how you feel. We measure what's actually happening in your blood. A quiz can't tell you your ferritin is 22 when it should be 68, a blood test can. Your formula is built from lab data, not your answers to "do you feel tired?"

  • Shelf supplements are formulated for an average person who doesn't exist. You're a specific person with specific deficiencies at specific levels. Better You analyses 30+ biomarkers in your blood and builds a formula calibrated to your numbers, correct ingredients, correct doses, correct timing. Chemist supplements guess. We measure.

  • No - Better You is not a replacement for medical care, and it's not gated by one either. If you're currently being treated for a medical condition, take prescription medication, or have any concerns, talk to your GP before starting. Otherwise, the at-home blood collection and formula process is designed to work without a GP visit.

  • Then you already believe in the idea - you just don't know if you're taking the right things at the right doses. Most people we test are over-supplementing on nutrients they don't need and under-dosing the ones they do. Your blood tells us exactly which of your current supplements to keep, cut, or replace.

  • Your GP is trained to identify disease, not optimise performance. A vitamin D of 55 nmol/L is "normal" to your GP - but the research on energy, immunity, and recovery shows optimal starts at 100+. Better You doesn't replace your GP. It fills the gap between "not sick" and actually thriving.

  • Most members report changes in energy, sleep, or recovery within 3–6 weeks. Measurable biomarker movement - iron, vitamin D, B12, magnesium - typically shows on your 90-day retest. Your body didn't become deficient overnight, and it won't correct overnight either.

The Blood Test

How the at-home collection works, what we measure, and who analyses your sample.
  • We ship a Tasso collection kit to your door. You press it against your arm for five minutes, drop the sample in the prepaid bag, and post it to our NATA-accredited partner lab. No needles, no clinic, no appointment - the whole process takes about five minutes at your kitchen table.

  • A Tasso device is a small, painless blood collection tool that uses micro-channels to draw blood from the surface of your skin. It replaces the traditional needle-and-vial method used in pathology clinics. It's been validated in clinical studies and is used by major research hospitals globally.

  • No. Most users describe it as a light pressure sensation — comparable to a rubber band flick. The device collects a small volume (a few hundred microlitres) which is enough to run the full 30+ biomarker panel.

  • It happens - and we cover it. If your sample is insufficient or damaged in transit, we'll ship you a replacement kit at no cost. Our instructions also walk you through hydration and warm-up steps that make collection easier the first time.

  • Your sample is processed by an Australian NATA-accredited pathology lab - the same accreditation standard used by hospitals and clinical pathology services. We don't run samples in-house or use overseas labs. Your results are generated by registered laboratory scientists.

  • Yes. Our partner lab is NATA-accredited (National Association of Testing Authorities) and operates under ISO 15189 - the international standard for medical laboratories. This is the highest accreditation available for pathology testing in Australia.

  • We run a 30+ biomarker panel covering iron and ferritin, vitamin D, vitamin B12, folate, magnesium, zinc, HbA1c, lipid profile (cholesterol, LDL, HDL, triglycerides), liver function, kidney function, thyroid markers, inflammation (CRP), and full blood count. The full marker list is available in your member dashboard after signup.

  • Lab analysis takes 5–7 business days from when your sample arrives. Your full report and custom formula are then ready within 48 hours of analysis completing. End-to-end, expect your first sachets within 14 days of ordering.

Your Formula

What's in your sachets, where it's sourced, and why it's built the way it is.
  • Pharmaceutical-grade vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and adaptogens - all sourced from TGA-listed suppliers. We use bioavailable forms (methylated B-vitamins, chelated minerals, vitamin D3 with K2) rather than the cheaper synthetic versions found in most shelf products. Every ingredient is chosen based on clinical evidence, not trend.

  • From TGA-listed Australian and international suppliers that meet pharmaceutical-grade standards. Every batch is third-party tested for purity and potency before it enters your formula. We don't use proprietary blends or undisclosed fillers.

  • Yes. Every active ingredient in your sachet meets pharmaceutical-grade standards for purity, potency, and bioavailability. This is the same quality tier used in clinical settings - not the food-grade or nutraceutical-grade ingredients common in mass-market supplements.

  • Yes. All ingredients and finished formulations comply with Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration requirements. This means every component has been assessed for safety and quality by Australia's medicines regulator.

  • Most ingredients are, but it depends on your specific formula. Your membership dashboard shows a full ingredient breakdown including allergen information for every sachet you receive. If you have strict dietary requirements, flag them during onboarding and we'll flag any conflicts before your formula is made.

  • Your AM sachet contains nutrients that support energy, focus, and daytime function - typically B-vitamins, iron, vitamin D, and adaptogens. Your PM sachet contains nutrients that support sleep, recovery, and overnight repair - typically magnesium, zinc, glycine, and omega-3s. The split is based on absorption science, not marketing.

  • Tell us during onboarding and we'll flag any conflicts before your formula is built. We can exclude specific ingredients and substitute bioequivalent alternatives where possible. If a critical ingredient can't be substituted, we'll tell you before you pay.

  • Yes - example formulas are available on request before you commit. Reach out via our contact page and we'll send through anonymised sample reports and formula breakdowns for different biomarker profiles.

Results & Retesting

How the 90-day cycle works and what changes between your first formula and your next.
  • Every 90 days. A fresh Tasso kit is shipped automatically on day 80 of your cycle, giving you time to collect and return before your next formula is due. Retesting is built into your membership — no separate purchase, no extra fee.

  • Your new results are compared side-by-side with your previous panels in a colour-coded report. Markers that have moved are flagged, your formula is recalibrated, and the next 90-day supply is compounded based on the new data. You'll see exactly which nutrients moved, by how much, and what changed in your formula as a result.

  • As your deficiencies correct, ingredients either reduce in dose or drop out entirely. New markers may come into focus as you optimise. Your formula at month 12 will likely look very different to your formula at month 3 - that's the point.

  • Your report shows where you sit on the optimal curve, not just the "not sick" curve. Most people have 3–5 markers that are technically "normal" but sub-optimal for performance, sleep, or recovery. If we genuinely find nothing addressable, your kit is refunded in full under the See Your Data guarantee - and you keep the data.

  • Two ways: how you feel, and what your numbers do. Subjective improvements (energy, sleep, recovery) typically show within 3–6 weeks. Objective improvements (biomarker movement) show at your 90-day retest, with trend lines drawn quarter-over-quarter so you can see what's moving and what's not.

  • Yes. You own your data. Every report, every biomarker, every formula iteration is available to download from your member dashboard as a PDF. Take it to your GP, your trainer, or keep it for your own records.

Shipping & Delivery

When your kit arrives, how it's packaged, and how to update or pause your shipments.
  • Australia-wide. We currently ship to every state and territory, including PO boxes and parcel lockers. International shipping isn't available yet - we're focused on getting the Australian experience right first.

  • Your Tasso collection kit arrives within 1–2 business days of ordering. Once you return your sample, lab analysis takes 5–7 business days, and your first sachet supply ships within 48 hours of analysis completing. End-to-end: expect your first sachets roughly 14 days from ordering.

  • Yes. Shipping is free both ways - kit out, sample back - for every member, every cycle. No shipping fees, no handling fees, no return postage costs.

  • Yes. Log into your dashboard and pause your subscription for up to 90 days at a time. No fees, no calls, no retention scripts.

Billing, Subscription & Cancellation

What you pay for, when you're billed, and how to cancel if you need to.
  • $379 per month. That covers your at-home blood test, lab analysis, full biomarker report, custom AM/PM sachets for 30 days. Bought separately, the components cost $795+ - everything is included in one price.

  • A complete system, not a product. Your $379 covers: the Tasso collection kit, NATA-accredited lab analysis of 30+ biomarkers, your personalised biomarker report, custom-compounded AM and PM sachets for 30 days, and your next retest kit. Nothing is sold separately. Nothing is upsold.

  • Yes - Better You works on a 30-day cycle because that's how long it takes your body to show measurable biomarker change. You're billed once per cycle, not monthly. No contract, no minimum term.

  • Yes. Cancel from your dashboard in two clicks - no phone calls, no cancellation gymnastics, no retention scripts. Cancellations take effect immediately, and you keep access to any kits or reports you've already paid for.

  • Yes, under our See Your Data guarantee. If your blood panel doesn't reveal at least one actionable deficiency, we refund your kit in full. If your 90-day retest doesn't show measurable improvement in your numbers or how you feel, we refund the formulation cost. Either way, you keep the data.

  • All major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay. Payments are processed securely via Shopify Payments.

Medical, Safety & Privacy

What Better You is and isn't, how we handle your data, and who should check with a doctor first.
  • No. Better You is a wellness and performance optimisation service. We don't diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Our reports and formulas are designed to help healthy adults optimise within normal physiological ranges - not to replace medical care.

  • No. Better You is not a diagnostic service and does not provide medical treatment of any kind. If your results fall outside normal reference ranges in a way that suggests a medical issue, we'll flag it in your report and recommend you speak with your GP.

  • Yes. All biomarker data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored on Australian servers, and handled in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles. Access is restricted to our clinical and formulation team - no third-party sharing, no marketing partners, no data brokers.

  • Yes. You can request permanent deletion of your health data and account at any time via your dashboard or by emailing support. We'll confirm deletion within 30 days in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

  • Yes. Better You is fully compliant with the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Our full Privacy Policy details how we collect, store, use, and delete your personal and health information.

  • Possibly - it depends on the medication. Some supplements interact with prescriptions (vitamin K with blood thinners, magnesium with certain antibiotics, etc.). Tell us what you're taking during onboarding and we'll flag any known interactions. Always check with your prescribing doctor before starting.
